- The entire family is going to be so amazed at all the updates and changes to the Disneyland Resort. Both parks have so many great new experiences that your whole family will just love. I have attached a link with yours truly in it to give you an idea on how amazing the parks are at this time of year. Cars Land is a great place to start experiencing the magic. Let me give you one piece of advice. Do not enter Cars Land on Route 66. There is a more breathtaking entrance over by the Pacific Wharf. I am sure you will appreciate the view when you enter. My family's favorite spot to eat in Cars Land is over at Flo's V8 Cafe'. The turkey is perfectly tender and delicious and the bread rolls are so fresh. You also should try the selection of shakes and pies they have, they both make perfect desserts. Those 'ugly' pies might be one of my favorite desserts in all the parks. As for the ideal time to visit, if you want to go on the attractions then you should arrive when the park opens. This way you will at least be able to get a Fastpass for Radiator Springs Racers, which is the ultimate Disney driving experience. My favorite time to visit is when the sun is setting and all at once, the neon sign light up and all of Route 66 looks lovely. One last piece of advice is to watch Cars before you come so you can really see how well done this new land is. I hope this assists you and I will see you at the parks.
