Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My family is taking their first trip to Disneyland in two weeks. I've read that we can bring in our own water bottles (I've already picked up collapsible ones my daughters) but can we bring in bottles of soda? What about gatorade or powerade drinks?

- Hey Howdy Hey Randi,
You're going to have a great adventure out at The Happiest Place on Earth. Disney count downs are the best!
The Disneyland Resort is all about celebrating. Be sure to stop by Guest Services to get your free "First Time" buttons for your whole family to wear during your trip. Cast Members that see your buttons will send you all warm wishes throughout the day.
You are welcome to bring small snacks and plastic bottles of water/ juice/ soda for your family to enjoy in the Disney Parks. No glass is permitted.
The Disneyland Resort offers a Disney FastPass Service as well! It is a free and easy to use service with participating attractions throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
There are select attractions that have FastPass kiosks (these tend to be the more popular attractions). You will insert your Park Admission Ticket into the kiosk and receive a FastPass. The FastPass will have a Return Time printed on it so you can come back later and avoid the long line at that attraction. Just remember to return within the time window printed on your FastPass and then enter through the FastPass entrance and not the Standby entrance.
Also, if there is ever an attraction that your child can't ride, ask the Cast Member at the queue entrance if the attraction offers a Rider Switch. The Rider Switch is a service to help families utilize the attractions in a timely manner even if all the Guests in their party do not wish to ride whether it is due to height restrictions or personal preference.
I hope you have a pixie-dusted visit. If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.
