Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hi! We are going to take our daughter to Disneyland for her 3rd birthday either December 7 or December 14. My question is their any special things that Disney do for the birthday boy or girl?

- Hi, Michelle!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question about birthdays at the Disneyland Resort. There’s no better place to celebrate your daughter’s special day than The Happiest Place on Earth!
There are many ways to make your birthday girl’s day at the theme park extra memorable. Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button for her at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. on your way into Disneyland Park. It can even be customized with her name so she will receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members throughout your visit!
I suggest beginning your morning with the Minnie & Friends Breakfast at Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park, where your daughter can enjoy a meal with visits from some favorite characters. Try bringing along a birthday card for the characters to sign instead of an autograph book—it’s a special way to remember her magical birthday visit.
Don’t forget to mention you’re celebrating a birthday when making dining reservations because you may get sprinkled with a little extra pixie dust during the meal. Another special treat is to order one of the Disneyland Resort’s personal-size party cakes. You have a choice of two themes—a Disney Princess Jewelry Box or Disney Pirate Treasure Chest—that comes filled with cake, along with a lit candle and special surprise. They are $15 each and can be ordered in advance by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463) or in person during your meal.
I hope this helps, Michelle. Please feel free to ask more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation to the Disneyland Resort!
Wishing you magic,
