Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are looking into planning a trip to Disneyland in May 2014 with a 3 yr old and 15week old infant. Can the infant be taken on some of the rides and held in lap or worn in a carrier? Is there a half day or night time entrance ticket for less??

  • Hi there Nicole,

I remember those days.  Seems like only yesterday I was walking down Main Street USA with my little mouseketeer bundled in my arms!  It's such an amazing time to visit both for the parents and for the little one!  So much wonder to be seen!  When my daughter was an infant I would always stop just to watch her little eyes widen in amazement at every sight she beheld.

Your little bundle of joy can hop aboard with you and big sister as long as the attraction does not have a height restriction.  You can either hold baby in your lap or wear baby in a carrier (which I recommend) if that is easier and no need to wake her if she's snoozing!  You'll want to make a note of the slow moving attractions such as "it's a small world" and Peter Pan's flight!  These are attractions the 3 year old will love and they're still suitable for the infant!  If you have your doubts about any specific attraction, just ask any nearby Cast Member for their opinion!

To answer your second question, unfortunately there is not currently a half-day or nighttime ticket option.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
