Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Thanks so much for all the info! What do you think is the right number of days to visit? I have a 5 and 4 year old, so naps are a must! Also which would you recommend more the World of Color fastpass from Ariel's Grotto, or the picnic fastpass? Thanks!

- Hi Stephanie! Glad I could help, and thanks for coming back!
I would give yourself at least 4 full days if you can, to truly enjoy and experience everything Disneyland Resort has to offer. I would recommend devoting 2 full days to Disneyland Park, a full day to California Adventure, and a day to explore Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Resort Hotels!
If you are up for a character meal, Ariel's Grotto is a fantastic choice, and as an added bonus, if you book as part of the World of Color dining package, you will receive admittance into the preferred World of Color Viewing Area which is more centrally located than the regular FastPass viewing area! We think the food at Ariel's Grotto is delicious, and the character interaction with the Disney Princesses is great, but it is time consuming and much pricier than the picnics.
If you are looking for the easy way out, I absolutely recommend the World of Color Picnics which may be purchased in advance and picked up on the day of showing. There are several options from which to choose and my family finds them all to be very yummy and reasonably priced. When you go to pick up your picnic, you will be given FastPasses to enter the World of Color viewing area.
I actually recommend the Picnic because it's so easy. You can just go online and choose which option you'd like. When you arrive, your meal will be all packed and ready to go! The kids even get a fun WOC souvenir! Either option will work out great for you , I think it just comes down to personal preference and what will work best for your family!
Please fell free to keep writing back as you think of questions!
