- Signed up for 10K at Marathon weekend at WDW in Jan. Plan to arrive on 1/9 and do packet pickup at EXPO. How long should I allot for this? Anything I should particularly do at EXPO? Can I use a Disney gift card for purchases at the EXPO?

- Hi Dossie!
Wow, it is so awesome that you are planning on running the Walt Disney World 10K race during Marathon Weekend this year! This new race promises to be a fun filled 6.2 miles and you are going to love the new Minnie Mouse Medal! Packet Pick-Up at Disney's Health and Fitness Expo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex can vary depending on the time of day and the amount of people picking up their race packets at that particular time. I typically plan for about 60 to 90 minutes to pick up my race packet (it could take less time than this), but if you desire to explore the Health and Fitness Expo then I would plan for more time (like 2 to 3 hours). There is so much to see and do at the Health and Fitness Expo. I would encourage you to check out the vendors who have amazing running products, demonstrations and samples. Also there is the Expo Speaker Series with top runDisney experts and industry running experts giving advice, tips, and information throughout each day at the Expo. The only place that you will be able to use a Disney Gift Card at Disney's Health and Fitness Expo is at the runDisney store which has official runDisney merchandise. Typically all of the other vendors at the Expo will take major credit cards (they do not take Disney Gift Cards for payment because they are outside vendors).
I hope that every mile is truly magical for you during your Walt Disney World 10K run!
