I love Disney, and I am a self-proclaimed Disney fanatic. Like Mickey Mouse, I consider myself to be "a friend to everyone." I enjoy meeting new people, making friends and trying new things. There is always a little bit of Pixie Dust in my daily life. Whether it's listening to Disney Parks music while my oldest son and I commute to school and work, or drinking multiple cups of coffee from my favorite Mickey mug, Disney magic is with me each day. My office is full of Mickey Mouse and I often have co-workers stop by because they say it makes them happy. Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with my family is the perfect vacation for me. As the proud father of four, any time our family can get away together is precious to me. Helping others experience the magic of Disney is something I thoroughly enjoy. As Walt Disney said, "You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality." Being asked to join the Disney Parks Moms Panel was a dream come true for me. I love being able to help others plan their magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations.
About My Family
Once upon a time, I met my own "Beauty," Jen, in undergrad school at the beach. After courting Jen and taking her to Walt Disney World for her first visit, I proposed on Christmas Day, following our graduation. We were married almost two years later in a seaside ceremony. Since then, we've had two swashbuckling pirates, Robert and William, and two playful princesses, Elisabeth and Gretchen. Our boys can usually be found creating their own Disney Parks and reenacting their favorite attractions. William and Elisabeth ("the Tweedles") are only 13-months apart and do everything together as if they were twins. Gretchen was born in June 2014 and had her first visit to Disney World in December 2014. Jen is a kindergarten teacher at a local elementary school and I am the web coordinator for an independent school where our oldest son attends. As the saying goes, "it takes a village to raise a child," and we are blessed to have our parents and other family close by to help us with our children. I love our big family and all the memories we create at Disney Parks. When we are not visiting Disney World annually, we enjoy time at home as a family, especially during the holidays.
About My Disney Experience
I have loved Mickey Mouse since I was a child. My parents bought me a Mickey plush during my first visit to Walt Disney World Resort and I have cherished it since. I grew up visiting Walt Disney World with my family and have many fond memories of my siblings and I running around the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Magic Kingdom has long been my favorite park in Walt Disney World. As a child, I loved Peter Pan's Flight and The Haunted Mansion. As an adult, I am still fascinated with the magic of Fantasyland, and enjoy experiencing it with my own children today. Seeing the Disney classics and new attractions, like Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, through their eyes gives me wonderful new memories. As Disney Vacation Club members, we are able to take magical family vacations every year. A visit to Walt Disney World is our favorite getaway, but planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation when our children are a little older is on our "Disney bucket list."
