I've done many amazing things in my short time here on Earth, but Walt Disney World has always been the backdrop of the best experiences in my life. As an Airman in the Air National Guard, wife, mother, frugal blogger and former event planner, I'm a stickler for structure. On the flip side, I'm an advocate for taking time out of life for silliness and fun. I also profess to being a "Star Wars" geek, Nutella fanatic, and admirer of the most fashionable duck around Main Street, U.S.A., Daisy. My life motto is simple: learn something new and create bits of magic every day.
About My Family
I married my best friend 10 years ago. We fell in love through our appreciation of Gummi Bears (the Disney cartoon and the candy), Chewbacca and our large, but entertaining, families. Our 9-year-old boy is a scientist, bookworm and history enthusiast. We always say that he's the type of kid that would rather build Space Mountain than ride it. Our little Duchess is a 4-year-old fashionista who loves Cinderella and swords. She's also a thrill seeker, like her mama, and is finally tall enough to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with me! We were also blessed with our baby boy this past August, and affectionately call him our miniature Winnie The Pooh. He's bound to be a Disney kid, just like the rest of his family.
About My Disney Experience
At the ripe old age of 7, my parents and I took our first family trip to Walt Disney World. A year prior, we saw "Bambi" in a local theater and I begged for a whole year to experience the Disney magic firsthand. With 7 magical trips within 10 years, I had become a true fanatic. Once I became a wife and mother, 16 years after my very first visit, the Pixie Dust was still in my blood. It's been such a great adventure passing it onto my husband and children. I look forward to answering your questions about Walt Disney World, and passing some magic to you too.
