My life has always been a stage. I grew up in Richmond, VA in the studio world and continued my passion for dance in college, where I received a B.S. in Dance. After graduation, I auditioned for Walt Disney World and was privileged to be cast as a parade performer in the Magic Kingdom 25th Anniversary's "Remember the Magic Parade," where my respect and love for Disney truly took hold. Knowing I was making Disney magic for thousands of guests each performance was awe-inspiring. After retiring from Disney, I moved to the Northern Virginia area and performed with a local ballet company. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom by day and by night I instruct and inspire other young dancers to follow their passion and make their dreams come true. Joining the Disney Parks Moms Panel is a dream-come-true and I am excited to spread the Disney magic once again.
About My Family
My family is my strength, pride and joy. Kylie is my 11-year-old competitive cheerleader. She is in love with Peter Pan and truly has the magic of Disney in her heart. Christian is my 8-year-old snuggle-bug, who looks stinking cute in his baseball uniform and loves every adventure ride you can get him on at Walt Disney World. They make me proud every day to be their mother. Chris is my hardworking, fabulously handsome husband of 14 years. Our family isn't perfect, but I wouldn't change our imperfections for anything. It's what make us unique and what defines us as a "true" family. Hmmmmm? Sounds like some other Disney movies I have seen. I look forward to whatever bumpy roads we will travel and conquer together.
About My Disney Experience
I always loved Walt Disney for his endless imagination and dreams that even now are still coming to light. I am blessed to not only have been a guest at Walt Disney World on several occasions, but a parade Cast Member as well during its 25th Anniversary. And wow, what a time to work there! There truly is something about each time I step onto Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. Special memories of trips past, or parades performed, usually pop into my mind. It is always such a nostalgic feeling. I love that I can reflect on a different time of my life — where I was, who I was with and what I was doing — each time I walk that magical street. Walt Disney World has and will continue to be my own personal time capsule of what was and is important in my life during each visit or performance. I am thankful that I now have the opportunity, on the Disney Parks Moms Panel, to help guide other guests towards their magical moments and memories that will truly last them a lifetime *o*
